The winter greenhouse experiment

Mom got us a box of dirt! Yeah its nice and I like the number 3 and 4 (add them together and that's my age) ...
I'm 3!
Right Evie, and there are four of us in our family.... anyway its a good box.

The first thing daddy had to do was measure out foot measurements so we had boxes to plant in.

We decided to help out, after all sometimes mommy and daddy need some help.

And to finish off with a bunch of water! Well this is week 1 so stay tuned!

Carrots!

Yes Evie, so mommy got us a box at a greenhouse to try growing some veggies for the winter. I'm not so sure about it but she said we can plant carrots so I'm okay with trying it.

Daddy! and finding Nemo

We celebrated birthdays, seeing cousins, both my Stanley Uncles and then we all got sick with a stomach buggie. That was not fun. But we got lots of stories and that made it better.

Well we must apologize...

..we Really must apologize for not posting in such a very long time. Things have gotten away from us what with the house getting rebuild and then school year finishing up then summer. But we will try to go back over the next few months and both update their adventures and add new ones in. Thanks for being patient. -Mom Note

Appy Heart Day!

Yeah mom and dad, happy valentine's day!

Continuing adventures of SNOW MATH!

It's really outdoor math. So mom has come up with a way for me to practice math that is even more fun that wandering around writing it on stuff with sidewalk chalk. Sledding math! the faster I give the correct math answer the faster mommy pulls me on a sled!

We also did a bunch of snowshoeing and sledding and playing... it was really nice getting some snow this winter.

The perfect bike

Trip to cycletherapy yesterday with mommy, and she found something she wanted but I got a good deal out of it.

She said if I ride my bike everyday for a month then I get to pick the bike I want. And I FOUND IT! This is the bike I want, I only got to ride it two times around the store though which wasn't enough.

A story with a friend...

Once upon a time, a princess and her unicorn came over to play with her friend the race car driver.

Together they played blocks and cars, they played dolls and games. They enjoyed ignoring the dinosaurs next door.













They played and played and had lots of fun,  taking turns having fun!
Once done with the play a tea break was called for...

...a great way to end a playdate with a friend.

House Math!

A few days of mom off line = house math!
I know sounds boring! But its very fun, mom, me and Evie get some chalk then we take turns writing on whatever. Garage, sidewalk, play area... one writes the problem and the other answers it. (Evie likes to come along and scribble over em.) So that's good too.

Reveling desert!

Honor and Henry and coming over to make deserts so I made cupcakes!

 The Hutchlings were helping with both sampling and decorating! Marshmallows, pretzels, ice cream cones and cookies.

Yummy! They were tasty hee hee but we did have to leave some for the St. Valentine's Desert Massacre (friends of mommy's host a desert thingy and we got to help).

Ship of Hearts

Make your own Ship of Hearts for Valentine's Day!

This is an easy fun project which should use products from around the house.

Empty boxes to cut out the ship base and heart shaped sails. 

Tape and straws (for the mast) and whatever you've got around the house for painting (we used bingo dot pen for ours).

Evie had a great time cutting the sail and decorating the boat and sail. She even came up with a great story for its sailing.

Badges, dinosaur gummi cupcakes, and wild kratts power suits and even custom Kratt gang sock puppets were the order of the day! And a really great excuse to hold a party!

Happy birthday to me! Mommy is still getting the video of everyone together.

7 I'm now 7 years old!
And to celebrate I had a cool Wild Kratts themed party where instead of getting creature (animal) powers we got DINOSAUR powers!

Potty potty potty!

Shh... day something of mommy trying to potty train me. Only time I could talk, she's currently napping.
Send help or goldfish!
If she doesn't stop son I will be trained then my carefree life is over and I have to notice when to go.
Or send gold fish so I have snack for potty.

Wild Wild Wild Sloan! (with dinosaurs)

7 I'm now 7 years old!
And to celebrate I had a cool Wild Kratts themed party where instead of getting creature (animal) powers we got DINOSAUR powers!

School was even a half day today! Yeah that's cool and so my friends got to come over really early in the day so we got to have lots of fun on my actual birthday. And there were games and dinosaur cupcakes with dinosaur sprinkles and games and gifts (yeah the gifts were cool!)

Presents? My turn presents?

Yeah Evie was really sad that she didn't get presents (she got some and she helped me open some) but she was still sad. But she liked the game so that made her forget presents.

Everyone got a cool Wild Kratts power vest! And lots of dino power badges-we had to do something to earn each of them. For the T-Rex carnivore badge we had to eat 3 dinosaur nuggets ROARRR yummy!

Oh if we ate goldfish we got the Spinosaurus or Pteranadon badge (both really like fish you know) and eating veggies got you the Triceratops (herbivore badge).

Then there was the ankylasaurus badge (I wore a laundry basket on my head and crawled to the dining room while daddy tried to hit me with a nerf gun! Hee hee so fun!
